Orange Almond Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups Almond Flour (250g)
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar (150g)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Orange Juice (120ml)
  • 2 tbsp Orange Zest
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Optional: Powdered Sugar For dusting
  • Optional: Sliced Almonds For garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preparing the Pan
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
  • Mixing Dry Ingredients
    In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • Combining Wet Ingredients
    In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
    Stir in the orange juice and zest until well combined.
  • Creating the Batter
    Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula, mixing until just combined.
  • Pouring the Batter
    Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Baking
    Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Decorating and Serving
    Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with sliced almonds for a simple yet elegant finish.
