- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar (150g)
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour (315g)
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (340g)
- 1/2 cup Optional: Chopped Walnuts (60g)
PreparationPreheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Creaming the Butter and SugarsIn a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Adding Eggs and VanillaBeat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mixing Dry IngredientsIn a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Combining Wet and Dry IngredientsGradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Adding Mix-InsFold in the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using) with a spatula. Shaping the CookiesScoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading. BakingBake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are slightly soft. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
