Disney Chocolate Chip Cookie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter (225g)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar (200g)
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar (200g)
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour (340g)
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (340g)
  • Optional: Sea Salt For sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • Preparation
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Creaming the Butter and Sugars
    In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Adding Eggs and Vanilla
    Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Mixing Dry Ingredients
    In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Combining Wet and Dry Ingredients
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Adding Chocolate Chips
    Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula to ensure even distribution.
  • Shaping the Cookies
    Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets using a cookie scoop or spoon, leaving enough space for spreading.
  • Baking
    Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers remain soft.
  • Cooling and Serving
    Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired and serve warm.
